I'm Quitting for a Cure for Cancer

Dear Friends,

For the months of April and May I'm quitting alcohol, biscuits, chocolates, lollies, sweets, and all caffeine!  Yes, that includes all tea and coffee too!!

It was tough during Easter and thru my birthday weekend, but the kids have dared me to extend it another month and for their sponsorship I have agreed!

The hardest thing has been missing my coffee latte's and the withdrawals have left me craving them even more....can't wait for June 1st !!! 

I'm doing this to raise funds for a cause which you all know is very close to my heart, Cure Cancer Australia Foundation.

I would encourage you to donate what you would normally spend when going out for coffee and sweets, every little bit helps!

To put it in perspective for you, $50 will fund an hour of vital Cancer research in the lab.

Please help me to Quit and raise money for Cure Cancer Australia.

This challenge is a significant one and by sponsoring me you will help make a big difference to the lives of all people with cancer, and the one in two families now impacted by cancer. 

Your donation will encourange me to keep to my Quit, and we will all know that we are helping people less fortunate than ourselves. 

It gives me great hope to raise funds for Cure Cancer Australia so that they can fund the brightest Australian cancer researchers, to support their mission of erradicating cancer.
