Frank's Giving Up Chocolate!
Frank's Giving Up Chocolate!
Story
Dear Friends,
I've shaved my beard (that I had on for 30 years!) for charity. No problem - I now look younger and better looking. Also for charity, I stopped drinking alcohol for a month. Not a big problem! However, I am now undertaking my most difficult challenge: giving up chocolate for six months! That means no Cadbury's, no Lindt, No Max Bremer, no Mars Bars, no chocolate cakes and .... no cappucinos!
Why am I doing this? Chocolate is my addiction. However, there are young people with more serious addictions than mine. They are suffering drug and alcohol addictions. Life Education teaches young children about the dangers of drugs and alcohol so that they don't develop these dangerous addictions when they get older. By supporting me, even if only for a small amount, you are helping young Australians. A worthy cause, don't you think?
Activity
Life Education
Life Education has been empowering children and young people to make safer and healthier choices through education for more than 35 years. We believe that each child should be living to their full potential. To meet this vision we design programs that are relevant to Australian children and young people every day, as well as their families and communities. We are now the largest non-government provider of drug and health education, operating in all States and Territories.
At Life Education, we believe that all children deserve to lead safe and healthy lives. By placing preventive education at the core of our work we want to instil in children the confidence to make safer and healthier choices now and in the future
Our program today reaches over 640,000 children across all seven states in Australia, with over 100 mobile learning centres and 95 specially trained educators.
